Follow the la Fête de la Transhumance at Châtillon-en-Diois, just like sheep
Immerse yourself in this pastoral landscape where, every spring, the annual journey up to the summer pastures by some 1500 sheep is celebrated. Once this woolly flood has passes through the little streets of the old town, the flock takes to the heights to rejoin the green alpine pastures of the Vercors plateau where it will fatten throughout the summer.

Train on the cols and minor roads of the Diois
