À propos
Mont Aiguille with its 2,087 m of altitude is one of the seven marvels of Dauphiné. Walk in the footsteps of Antoine de Ville and conquer 'Mount Inaccessible', whose ascent in 1492 is considered as the birth of mountaineering.
Climbing the Mont Aiguille will be an introduction to mountaineering mixing hiking, climbing and via ferrata. We first walk up a forest path and arrive at the foot of the rock face. Attached to ropes you will progress along the rock face with the help of cables and rocks. Once at the summit you can admire views on the Vercors mountains. The way down is taken through a beautiful arch giving access to the abseiling portions and the forest path underneath.
A reasonably good health condition is necessary to be able to climb this mountain.
