Playing on the 4 seasons, which transform the landscapes and influence the type of outdoor activities, the Pays Diois is seductive due to the authenticity of its 50 villages and the richness of the neighbouring areas, bordered to the North by the cliffs of the Vercors-Drôme and the Trièves, to the West by its opening onto the Drôme valley towards Valence and to the South by the rugged profile of Drôme Provençale and Sisteron-Buëch.
